Outside of the freedom to be a limited tool of power brokers as opposed to one pushed just short of the subsistence levels that push encumbered masses to the streets what are the voting requisites for the great unwashed?
Are we voting for access to power? Are we voting for the knowledge of what possibly to do with power? Are we voting for freedom from dead brain cell disease? Or are we voting for the the emptiness of false premise, promise, pride?
The government will either steal you blind or throw away or give away your money. The private sector will either make you wage slaves or use you as fodder to prop up their egalitarian dreams. Authority wins the day
And the world turned and the furies spoke and the winds blew and we now know that all answers all are self evident and that all stories all are bitter sweet and that the tigers go good and the lambs do not.
Frameworks and stories; fairy tales and gossamer constructions ...... the mystic muses know that saying makes it so .... calling upon the spirits of tree lizards past and present makes for the right modes and the promising futures.
The good night stories for all nestled children and the silent stroking of a loved mother are the comforting pieces of experience and wisdom that make it easy to focus upon the sweet smells of cocoa and butterscotch as life gets put in the wrappings of a warm blanket.

Rich. poor. Obnoxiously self righteous. Unapologetic or rancidly dismissive. Whiners and piners and left eyed diners. The creeps, the trees, the fungi in the mulch ...... all of god' children under the midnight sun are in the Hobbesian desert with limited resource and unmitigated hate.
The haves that have have the wants they want. The have nots that have not have the needs they need ...... crass conflict is there for the waiting and crass conflict is there to be dealt with with the iron fist and the orchestrated ear.
Imposed, implicitly agreed upon, gotten from heaven, demigods, the cream of mankind, the social contract brilliantly lets the happy and worthy haves have ... lets the unhappy and worthy have nots have not, lets the unhappy and worthy have nots seek their maker or other good things. Good lives and lands and all manor ponds of scum leave little steam vents of hope for or or resentment regulate the pressure.
Wealth corrupts. Influence, power corrupts, is corrupting. Finding ways to game the natural order of things is what flacks and bullies and handy dandy culture warriors and power vacuum players and loud mouth bought and sold, or made in defective sweat shop politicos do for us all. The more perfect union
Sometimes it is not the atrophied soul that calls a canned bit of business an waste of time..... a feat worth a negative pop as it goes contrary to the rules of the game...... if one cannot use canned pablum in a talk, a debate, a miserable piece of the public's business then all of the obnoxious electioneering fops would have to get paid for doing something useful rather than just establishing power grabs and power plays for useless bits of slanted drivel.
As legislation is the holy grail of the power play and negotiations are the means to demand capitulation and retreat, political talk, debate, clamor feeds the mouths of those who fill the power vacuums left to the populous by the pretense of having learned men and women vie for the more perfect union.

Looks good in tights

The center will hold ... the middle will find strength and support .... the moral compass will spin and spin and end up balancing power and need, want and grievance, work and idea, state and serf, citizen and discontent.

A sin and a shame
Ahhh... the bias of the bias class .... the talkers, the gawkers, the wheedlers, the criers, the poor babies, and the arrogant elites .... Ahhh, the simple perversions of heads gone a muck, hearts gone astray, sensibilities decrepit and corrupt, languorous and against the true benefactors of dollar and culture and intellectual advancement and creative outlets for thought.
Ahhh ... the dangers of the free range to the free mind ... is there no end to the nonsense of the intellectual hobby horses and skittish lovers of sound and fury.
Ahhh ... the bias towards the well thought out tale with the rigorously examined skepticism and the immature bias towards the comforting of the afflicted and the afflicting of the comfortable..... the world always celebrates its carousal of fun house propositions and inane association. The bias of the meager is a sin and a shame.
